As a Dentist I used to get messages twice a month for my upper back and neck due to the posture my profession is forced to take while chair side. My massage therapist used to spend 1 and a half hours per visit just working out the knots and stiffness. Even with such routine visits, I constantly dealt with upper back and neck pain on a daily basis.
When we were fortunate to purchase our acreage in Victoria in 2004, we spent 3 years on our house and site plan. During this time, my wife and I also spent a vast amount of time researching a spa for our home. We finally settled on Arctic Spas for our Spa due to the history and backing their spas had. Also being as busy as we are, I didn’t want to fool around with maintenance and water chemistry on a daily bases. What we wanted was a reliable spa that would fit our busy lifestyle and provide us with the best hydrotherapy possible. We were very fortunate to have had the time to look around and deal with all the spa manufacturers/distributors in the Victoria area.
When we finally settled on the Arctic Spa Brand, we met Dave from Spa Bound and went over our needs and desires in a spa. We also focused on quality, durability and lowest operating cost possible. Dave was very professional and took the time to go over all that Arctic Spa had to offer in detail and the pros and cons of all the spas and options. With Dave’s advice and direction, we settled on the Summit (I think) with the maximum number of jets possible and have not regretted the decision once.
The Spa has been very low maintenance wise, and the Onzen system has been fabulous. We don’t have the chlorine smell you find in many resort spas, and my skin has never felt itchy or dry. Furthermore, when any problem or question arose, Dave was only a phone call and a short drive away. The service and promptness of Dave and his Crew have been unmatched when I discuss our experience with our colleagues. As for attention to detail ... seeing as we kept as many Arbutus trees as possible on our property, Dave went beyond our expectations when he personally stained our cedar cabinet to match the trim on our home, which was matched by our builder to the deep red Arbutus bark color just before arbutus sheds its bark ... I must admit we were impressed by the attention to detail!
Long and the short of it, we are nearing our one year anniversary in our new home, and our new spa. I use the spa every other night currently. As for the Massage therapist … she was gone the first month that we owned our spa as I felt better and no longer had any upper back and neck pain. Her words were “did you quit your job … I can’t find a single knot in your upper back or neck!” This has been the best investment we made in hour health in a long time. I would recommend an Arctic Spa to anyone looking at purchasing one.
Sincerely
